Should be able to search on flexible dates
After selecting our camp site we entered our dates and were told all accommodation was unavailable. We almost gave up but persisted. We had to leave the website, delete all cookies and go back to the website, This time we selected our preferred accommodation first then searched for the dates. Hey presto, it was available and we could book our holiday.
There's a serious problem with the website search, you should be able to search without entering your dates, since many people are flexible on when they travel.

A good holiday company
Very easy to book and good you can reserve your holiday with a £99 deposit. Also - just to say Canvas were very good at moving our holiday twice due to Covid and we did not lose any money as a result - a friendly compnany.

Payment process
all add ons clearly itemised and priced I had a problem during the payment process (my fault) but I was in no way pressured during the time I was trying to fix problem

A week at Dol de Bretagne was fantastic. Staff from Canvas were very friendly and helpful and the local staff were brilliant at the various bars and activities. The booking of the holiday was easy and all went perfectly. I would easily recommend Canvas for anyone booking a holiday abroad

As ever Canvas as a company were great
As ever Canvas as a company were great. A great price and good service. Particularly good at answering questions on the phone, really helpful.
The campsite was as expected really as one primarily for people needing somewhere to stay that was near to Disneyland. Only thing is that since our last holiday the campsites no longer have Canvas reps on site which is a shame as they were always a mine of information and help. However the campsite hosts were very helpful too.

Selling holiday accommodation they don’t have
Booked a Safari tent with air conditioning - when we arrived we discovered none of the tents have AC, no rep on site so rang booking line and was told it was a typo on the website. They suggested I bought or hired a fan!
The site has been open since May and apparently no one else had complained. Asked to talk to a manager at Canvas and I’m still waiting 24 hours later.
Terrible service and selling goods they don’t have.

Stay well clear waste of time
We booked with our motorhome which is a autotrail scout for France first camp in Aux Pommiers

Which dint have a pitch for our van size so ended up having to stop on grass outside and then drove to our second park Vacances
QUARTIER MAYOTTE LAC 368 CHEMIN DES ROSEAUX 40600 BISCARROSSE to find that can’t book in till after 4pm.after 6 hour drive so lost most of the day before even get van sorted,when phoned up the company and said not much we can do and wasn’t bothered waste of time never book with theses if have any sense

We booked a mobile home in Bella Italia…
We booked a mobile home in Bella Italia through the Canvas website. However it was a previous Selectcamp site, taken over by Vacanceselect. We had to wait an hour in the cue of the camping reception to get a wristband. The home itself was quite old and didn't feel very clean. The service that normally came with Canvas bookings was missing.
Full refund and fantastic customer service
Canvas allowed us to get a full refund at short notice on the holiday we had booked to France which we can’t take due to the amber plus restrictions. Customer service was brilliant. We have had several good family holidays with canvas in previous years in various french sites and will definitely book with them next year due to their kindness and flexibility this year. Five stars !!

Booking cancellation
I called to discuss my options after quarantine restrictions were imposed for travellers arriving from France.
Nicola was very kind and helpful, discussed options fully. I was really happy to transfer my exact booking to next year. I was also delighted to get a refund on Eurotunnel booking . Excellent and sympathetic service.

I cannot fault the customer service we have had regards to our cancelled holiday. The fact they chose to cancel our holiday as they as a company didn't feel safe letting people go to France says alot. Also allowing us to transfer to next year as well. The staff at the contact centre and on email are super helpful.

Excellent campsite
The mobile home was new and very clean. The hosts Anne and Herman were always on hand to help if an issue came to light. Facilities at Les Ranchisses are excellent with a very good resto and shop. We felt very safe from Covid here and the site had all precautions covered and everybody was sticking to the rules. We felt safer here than at home.

Great Customer Service
We booked a holiday in France with Canvas which was unfortunately cancelled due to COVID 19 travel restrictions. Canvas offered several options including a full refund when it became apparent that FCO guidance warned against non-essential travel to France. The whole process was swift, fair and easy. We were impressed by the company’s customer care and communication.

Dealing with Canvas is a dream
Dealing with Canvas (I’ve spoken to 5 different people) has been an absolute pleasure.
They are happy to have a conversation about any concerns or queries, they work with honesty and have shown an appreciated level of empathy given circumstances.
We re-booked, will likely upgrade/extend our holiday with them and look at alternative stays through them, simply because of the great customer service received.
